Practical Tools For Evolving Culture

Our October Webinar will feature Alan Oishi and Dr. Anton Franckeiss.

In this webinar, Alan Oishi will showcase simple, yet impactful steps that can be taken to shift culture within your organization. Discover a powerful framework to support self-responsibility and a productive mindset. Learn how to activate and create positive accountability to the “core values” of an organization.

We all have a tendency to respond to threats to our identity in a similar way that we might respond to threats to our survival. This response is not productive, and Alan’s framework can help shift our ingrained responses. Most companies have invested in defining their core values; however, activating them takes an additional step.

Since 2010, Alan has been providing strategic advisory services to purpose-led organizations across a diverse set of industry sectors. He is also a top-rated speaker to CEO & Executive Forum groups, including being named 2016 Canadian Speaker of the Year by TEC Canada. Alan is passionate about helping business leaders to align their teams behind a common vision and build the commercial and cultural assets to drive accelerated and sustainable growth.

Alan will be joined on our Waggl Webinar by our Head of Consulting Dr. Anton Franckeiss. Anton has a doctorate in OD and Change, and is a Senior Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development. He’s worked with blue-chip clients across every corner of the world on projects that bring clarity, genuine transformational leadership, and positive change.

Alan established Shirlaws in Canada in 2010 and now utilizes the Shirlaws IP under his own brand Alan Oishi Inc. Prior to this, Alan spent the previous 18 years at Colliers International where he held positions in valuation consulting, investment brokerage, corporate finance,
eBusiness, and M&A before being promoted to the executive management team.

In the five years prior to joining Shirlaws, Alan served as Colliers’ Executive Vice President, Global Chief Operating Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors before taking on the
role of Chief Executive, USA. In 2008, Alan was named to Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty Under Forty list.
