A simple (but important) lesson from Umami Burger

Our fearless leader, Michael Papay, recently weighed in on the ongoing debate about annual performance reviews in Training Magazine.

In his article, “Real-Time Feedback at Umami Burger,” Michael contrasts the old, outmoded traditional process of annual reviews and employee surveys with the real-time interactions between brands and customers, using Umami Burger in Palo Alto as a shining example.  And the burger was delicious, too!
